Hello Friend,
I hope you’re all doing great as we transition into some wonderful fall weather.
YOUR Money in YOUR Mailbox! - Promises Kept
During the 2019 General Assembly Session, the Republican-led General Assembly fought tooth and nail against Democrats just to give your money back to you.
Anticipating the effect of the Trump Tax Reform, we set aside nearly $450 million for a Taxpayer Relief Fund to give money back to the hard-working families who earned the money in the first place. This decision is a perfect example of how we as Republicans respect your right to keep the fruit of your labor (your money), and will go to bat for you.

I was proud to support the $1 billion tax relief package, which is the most significant tax relief plan in at least 15 years, and the second largest tax cut in Virginia history.
In addition to the Taxpayer Relief Fund and returning your tax dollars, the plan increases the standard deduction by fifty percent beginning in tax year 2019, providing $86 in tax relief for an individual or $173 for a married couple. These long-term changes mean you will see a smaller tax bill next year.

You'll be seeing my opponent in your mailbox soon and, if the phone surveys she paid for are any indication, they'll be putting horns on my head... not my favorite part of public service.
A summer intern spotted a very odd recurring theme in Mavis Taintor's town hall meetings, posted on her Facebook page; he produced this video. Is Taintor inciting class warfare, or is her view of others just very distorted? Taintor was a political science professor and authored a book titled, "REVOLUTION and Political Change". You decide. The latest campaign finance reports were released two days ago, and my opponent has more than a 5x cash-on-hand advantage on me. A huge amount is coming from wealthy out-of-state liberals who are determined to roll out bad moral and economic policies in Virginia.

Update on Democrats Covering for Lieutenant Governor Justin Fairfax, the Accused Sexual Predator
Justin Fairfax refuses to face his accusers in a bipartisan hearing. The Washington Post Editorial Board on Sunday, September 15th, said this: “There are two main procedural ways forward. One is the prospect of criminal investigations in Durham, N.C., where Mr. Fairfax is alleged to have raped an acquaintance at Duke University in 2000, and Boston, where another woman says he forced her to perform … on him, against her will, in 2004. Mr. Fairfax says both encounters were consensual. The other is for the

Tax Refund Details:
In order to qualify, returns must have been filed before July 1st, and the taxpayer can’t owe any back taxes to their local government, Virginia, the IRS, or any other state agency. For those who do, the money will go to settle those debts.
If you’ve already filed your taxes, you’re eligible for a refund of up to $110 for those filing individually and $220 for those filing as a couple.
The taxpayer’s refund won’t exceed their total tax liability. For example, if your Virginia income tax liability was only $50, your check would likely be $50 instead of the full $110 or $220.
