HB 878 Passes the House

UPDATE 1/22/2014: HB 878 passed the house by a vote of 64-32 and is now heading to the Virginia Senate. The bill will be considered by the Committee for Courts of Justice.

UPDATE 1/17/2014: HB 878, my bill protecting our 2nd amendment rights, was favorably reported from the Militia, Police and Public Safety Committee (15-Y 6-N) with some changes we made to improve it. We are looking forward to this bill being on the House floor early next week. Thanks for all of your support!

UPDATE 1/16/2014: HB 878, my bill protecting our 2nd amendment rights, was favorably reported out of subcommittee this evening and is on the docket for the full committeetomorrow morning, Friday, Jan. 17th at 9am. Thank you to everyone who came out to support the bill today!

1/15/2014: One of my bills will have a subcommittee hearing tomorrow at 4pm. HB 878 is designed to protect the Second Amendment rights of our citizens by ensuring that people who are legally allowed to own a gun aren't arbitrarily denied that right.
